What is digitalCDR.com?
A web based business who's primary function is CD & DVD duplication, replication and packaging services.

What do you duplicate?

Audio CD's, CD ROM's and DVD's (Most formats supported).

What is the difference between duplication and replication?
Duplicated discs (called written or burned discs) is where the information (data) is burning to a dye layer of a recordable CD-R or DVD-R disc. Replicated discs (called stamped or pressed discs) are made by professionally pressing the data into the plastic surface area of the disc. Replicated discs are the standard for major studio releases.  Duplicated discs are also popular for short runs and fast turns.

What are the different types of disc printing?
digitalCDR.com uses offset and silkscreen printing, which is widely used in the industry for printing replicated discs. Offset printing provides the highest overall resolution and is ideal for full color (CMYK color mode) where photos and gradients are used. This type of printing is direct to the disc surface. Other printing methods are thermal, inkjet and glossy labels. We also use a professional offset quality thermal "direct to disc" print for our short run full size CD and DVD duplication.

Can you make (author) me a music CD,  interactive CD ROM or DVD video?
Yes ($65 per hour charge for CD mastering and authoring, $120 per hour for DVD authoring).

Will my copies be as good as the original?

Yes. There is NO difference. Think of it as an identical clone, indistinguishable from the master source used.

Do I need a barcode?
If your product is going to be used for retail sell, then a UPC barcode is usually needed. digitalCDR.com can generate the code at no charge from your provided numbers. digitalCDR.com can also provide the numbers free, if needed.

By what method does my order arrive to me?
UPS, FedEx, USPS, Standard Freight Lines.

How do I pay?

50% down before production services begin and remaining balance due upon completion before shipping. Payment terms are available with an approved credit application on our "Click Here To Order" link.
